The SwitchLinX family of products provides high-performance network switches for the DigiLinX system. Each of the switches, are optimized to meet the various infrastructure needs of a DigiLinX system and can be used in combination to provide the infrastructure that is ideally suited to the project. SwitchLinX switches are preconfigured with the settings that optimize performance with DigiLinX systems.SwitchLinX SW208/SW324The SW324 and SW208 are non-blocking 10/100 Fast Ethernet switches. Each switch is fully IGMP (Internet Group Management Protocol) enabled,and supports multicasting. Both Switches support up to 255 multicast groups and include LEDs that indicate activity and speed. The SW324 has 24 ports and can be mounted in a 19" rack occupying 1U of rack space (rack ears included). The SW208 has 8 ports in a small compact chassis. Both switches are ideal for delivering uncompressed audio data, control data, and compressed video. For systems requiring gigabit IP Video, these switches can be used to carry the audio and control data and the higher capacity gigabit switches can be used to carry uncompressed IP Video data.
