Shredder automatically switches to energy-saving mode in 2 minutes after last use; switches off entirely if not used for 4 hours; switches to temporary mode for small shredding jobs; and permanent mode for large shredding jobs. LED indicates machine status as well as container full, cutting unit blocked, container open and ready for operation.
