For optimal performance, plug directly into a wall socket and to the same unbroken circuit. How Does Powerline Work? Powerline is an incredibly simple and straightforward means to set up devices that uses your environment''s power cables instead of Ethernet, saving you on the hassles of running wires between rooms and the cost of professional A/V installation. This technology offers an alternative means of transmitting high-definition video and audio, installs easily and provides a reliable form of data transmission at ultra-long distances. Powerline technology takes advantage of the electrical wiring that already exists within your home or office to transmit data from one power outlet to another. Connection issues may arise if GPLHDPROK is connected to an electrical circuit with a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) or Arc Fault Circuit Interrupter (AFCI) and if electrical outlet is located near to an appliance with high power consumption such as a washer or dryer. Expandable Installation Up to 3 additional receivers (4 total receivers) can be connected to each HDMI Over Powerline PRO Kit to distribute HD video to multiple displays. The kit is Plug-N-Play so setup is as simple as connecting your source device and display(s) and powering on the Powerline transmitter and receivers.
