The MAGMA PEHIFX1 x1 PCI Express to PCI Interface Host Card is the PCI Express (PCIe) connection between the Magma PCI Expansion System and your PCIe capable host computer. PCIe is a next-generation I/O bus that uses a serial interface and point-to-point connections called lanes.

The Magma PEHIFX1 provides a PCIe interface to the Magma expansion system providing for the integration of legacy PCI cards into the new high-bandwidth PCIe computers. Magma expansion chassis are available in 1 Slot (for both full and half sized PCI cards), 2 Slot, 4 Slot, 7 Slot, and 13 Slot. The expansion chassis's are fully compliant with the PCI Local Bus Specification.
