Featuring auto-switching for the connection of two sources simultaneously, the TX-SW-0201 enables the selection of either connected VGA or HDMI device and signal transmission directly into any HDBaseT input-enabled display device without the need for a display receiver. VGA and HDMI inputs are automatically selected and switched when the unit detects a signal, with a smart detection feature prioritizing VGA over HDMI if two devices are transmitting at the same time, with a 3.5mm audio input also included to embed audio signals within the VGA signal. Supporting transmission distances of 100m/238ft to 1920x1200 and 70m/230ft at 4K resolutions up to 4096x2160@30Hz using a single Cat5e/6 cable, the TX-SW-0201 is fully compatible with HDBaseT projectors from leading manufactures such as Epson, Sony, Panasonic and Digital Projection, with 4K support ensuring maximum compatibility with future sources. Additionally, as the TX-SW-0201 essentially functions as means for connecting remote VGA or HDMI source devices over distance via HDBaseT, it is also the perfect compliment for WyreStorm HDBaseT input-enabled devices, such as WyreStorm presentation switchers, custom matrix TX-100-POH transmission module, audio amplifier receiver (AMP-001-010), scaler/downmixer (EXP-CON-4K-DD), or indeed any WyreStorm HDBaseT display receiver, for the creation of flexible and scalable AV distribution systems. The TX-SW-0201 also features a Phoenix connector for efficient firmware updates and LED indication for visual confirmation of unit power and signal link status, with in-built auto equalization and amplification ensuring successful signal distribution over long cable distances without any loss in transmission quality.
